September 20 ok everyone who continues to visit this site and signing the guestbook.final stand has changed there name due to some legal issues.we are now forever means goodbye.we are still the same band the music is more directed towards the metal and emoisc side of the spectum but we have plenty of beatdowns so dont be discouraged.you can download our songs at mp3.com/forever_means_goodbye since the name change we have signed to filled with hate records our new 7 song cd will be out first of october it is an enhanced cd with a video for "smiling as you drown" check out our site for the rest of the news. as for final stand we still play some of the songs one in which will be out on the new cd.were most likely gonna play a few shows as final stand just for the hell of it.like i said were still the same band so why not.peace Final Stand is now #34 on the unsigned metal/hardcore bands on mp3.com since the time of release which was march.Thanks to everyone who has downloaded our music we'll have a new song up soon.We are also featured on various college radio stations.i'll have the links up so you can check em' out.Also we have been informed That were going to be on a video released by spine clothing so in our next few shows were going to get as much footage as we can to be edited and relesed on this video,so when we play let's see some blood for the video,just did a little update on the shows/links page,Khris Bortot and Dave Mayersky recentlly got sponsored by Spine Clothing located in California,check out there site other's sponsered by spine are DRI,Gwar,Agnostic Front Blood For Blood to name a few.we appreciate there help and respect.Sorry for the delay on the "NEW WEB SITE" it looks like it'll be delayed a bit longer.We had to re-order our cd again.we found out that we were down to 3 cd's before playing our weekend starting in delawere.which went awesome thanks to Project Unity."The Only Certainty" cd has been selling great.we just re-ordered for our 4th time.In the coming months it'll be put out with bonus tracks and new art work.were talking to a couple different lables.before we begin our next recording. old news ok final stand web site is going to be going through a major change were finally going to move up in the world and get a dot com address. the site well be up in a few weeks it'll be done in flash 6 designed and maintained by eric klinger (pro-pain).a few more show dates have been updated.we are going to be on another comp.on stab you in the face records.coming out soon.keep checking back as this site will be finally getting better. sorry for the  delay in the updating of this site thanks for everyone getting on my shit with e-mails and whatnot.ok so here's the news our old singer Bryce Stuckie officially quit the band.We parted on semi-good terms for his reasons of leaving the band.he wishes us the best of luck as we do for him as well.we all had alot of fun and played alot of shows with him but it'stime to move on.thanks to all those who came out to try out for the band it's been about 2 weeks that we have tried out singers and we finnally found the one we wanted.so our new singer is A.J Lescher from willkes-Barre PA (ex-Shotgun Facelift). we had 2 practices with him before we were asked to play the Bunion Bowl.that was our first show back in 6 weeks.we had a blast and it was awesome to play that fest.check our shows page for upcoming shows,our bass player Andy Ward got sent to germany for the army so we have our original bass player John Parks to fill in till March,April 2003 when andy gets back, We have recieved some great news next summer 2003 final stand will be going to europe there are no line-up of bands at the moment but we have been working with some promoters/agents in korea and in germany to book the tour as it stands now were up to 6 touring dates in europe so thanks to all the kids over sea's promoting our cd and putting it out it's a hudge help we'll have all the details this winter for dates and countries.final stand wi'll be featured on 2 more comps one is on free spirit records and the other is turkey vulture records no release date has been set for either comp.we have also been added on the new Sadistic Records compilation coming out mid september (no name yet) go to there site and check out the line-up just click on the link. sadistic records .
